Safety and national defence

The sense of security is very individual and the state cannot guarantee this. Even when there is a sense of security, safety may not exist. The state’s task is to ensure the safety of its citizens.

Ensuring the safety of society starts from the home, where parents instil core values in their children. Important core values that serve as a prerequisite for safety are honesty and compliance with the law.

National defence also extends beyond military preparedness. An essential part of national defence is the defensive will of the citizens and the citizen’s connection with the state.
